The free Essential plan includes prompt and response analysis, competitor insights and the Athena AI agent. Starter adds more models, unlimited prompts and competitors, the content optimization agent and on-page and off-page actions.
AthenaHQ's Content Hub drafts new AI-optimized articles, optimizes existing pages and publishes them to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Shopify, Wix, Sanity, Contentful or Payload. Enterprise adds the Knowledge Base, Oracle and the Athena Citation Engine. If your team runs a content program and reports share of voice to executives, AthenaHQ fits that work.

Check Your Website is for a small company. Its site code is on GitHub or in Lovable, and Bolt, Base44 and Replit projects work through GitHub. AI tells its buyers wrong things, such as the price, the country or what the company does, because the page never says it. Where AthenaHQ is ahead of us today
AthenaHQ tracks much more of AI search than we do. It covers ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral. It measures mentions, citations, sentiment and share of voice against your competitors. We ask two models and track none of those metrics. If you need share of voice across many AI models, AthenaHQ does it better than we do today.
AthenaHQ writes and publishes content. The Content Hub drafts new articles from your brand kit, optimizes pages you already have and publishes them to your CMS. On Enterprise and Agency plans, Catalog Optimization rewrites Shopify product titles, descriptions and FAQs. We write no new articles, and we cannot publish to a CMS. If your site runs on WordPress, Webflow or Framer without a repository, AthenaHQ does it better than we do today.
AthenaHQ has Enterprise tools for larger teams. The Knowledge Base stores your verified facts, and Oracle compares what AI engines say with them. Enterprise also adds multi-region tracking, persona targeting, SAML SSO, audit logs and BI dashboards. We have none of these team or reporting features.
AthenaHQ is the more established product. G2 named it a High Performer in Answer Engine Optimization for Spring 2026. We are a young product in free beta.
What we do that AthenaHQ does not
Autopilot changes your site's code. It reads the code and writes a plan in plain words. After you approve it, the change arrives as a pull request on GitHub or a change in Lovable. It fixes schema, meta tags, robots, sitemap, llms.txt and pages that only render with JavaScript. AthenaHQ also manages AI crawler access with a smart robots.txt and llms.txt. Its integrations publish through a CMS, and we found no GitHub or Lovable integration.
The free check needs no account. The check reads one public URL in nine areas in about 60 seconds, with the evidence behind each. The AI test asks GPT and Claude your buyers' questions three times each, in your market's language, with web search on. It compares every answer with the facts you confirmed, as described in how we measure. AthenaHQ's Oracle makes a similar comparison on Enterprise.
We test each fix on your live page. Then we ask AI the same question every week and show the answers before and after side by side. When something slips, a new plan waits for you. AthenaHQ also tracks prompts over time, and it offers an MCP server for AI clients. With us, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenCode get the same findings from one sentence to copy.
