What AIclicks is genuinely good at
It is free, it is fast, and by their own description you do not need to sign up. Six areas with pass/fail and priorities, and they tell you to re-run after fixing — which is the right instinct, and more than most free tools bother with. Their paid tier adds monitoring and content work we do not do at all.
If you just want to know whether something is broken, that is a fair way to find out, and it costs nothing.
What we do differently
Pass/fail is a verdict. Evidence is something you can act on. Knowing that "structured data" failed does not tell you which tag is missing or what a machine currently reads off your page. Every one of our nine areas writes down what it actually found: the exact line, tag or missing answer, bounded to what you need to act on.
We show what a machine will read after the change. Not only what is wrong now — every lesson shows the current machine-read output and what it becomes once you publish.
We say which fixes are yours. The roadmap is split into what you can publish yourself and what needs a developer. On a pass/fail list, a template change and a paragraph rewrite look identical.
Re-run is not the same as verify. Re-running an audit gives you the state of the page. We re-run the one check your change depended on and record whether that change worked: fixed, improved or still failing, with the score before and after.
Deterministic scoring. The same page state always produces the same score, so the movement is real and you can show it to someone.
