# Check Your Website vs Peec AI

**Pick Peec AI if your marketing or SEO team tracks brand visibility, sentiment and share of voice across AI search. Pick Check Your Website if you are a small company with site code on GitHub or in Lovable, and AI gets your facts wrong.**

Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform for marketing teams. It runs your prompts every day, checks AI answers against facts you set, and ranks Actions for your team. Check Your Website checks one public page and asks OpenAI GPT and Anthropic Claude what they say about you. After you approve a plan, Autopilot fixes the page in your site's code.

## Who should pick Peec AI

Peec builds for marketing teams, SEO teams and agencies. The entry plan is for SEO and content managers, higher plans add projects and countries, and agencies get their own plan. The Visibility overview shows your visibility, position, sentiment and share of voice against competitors daily. Source analytics shows which URLs AI cites, and Gap analysis lists the sources that name competitors but not you.

Brand Perception scores the attributes AI links to your brand and groups the Objections it raises. Agent analytics shows which AI bots crawl which pages. Every plan comes with unlimited users, an MCP server and SOC 2. If you report AI visibility to a team or to clients, Peec fits that job better than we do.

## Who should pick Check Your Website

You are a small company. Your site's code is on GitHub or in Lovable. AI tells buyers the wrong price, the wrong country or the wrong idea of what you do, because your page never says it. You want that page fixed after one approval, and you want to see the answer change. If you need share-of-voice dashboards or many brands in one account, pick Peec.

## Where Peec AI is ahead of us today

**Peec measures your brand across AI search, and we do not.** Peec runs your prompts daily on the models you choose, against unlimited competitors. We track no mentions, share of voice or citations. If you need to know how often AI names you next to competitors, Peec does it better than we do today.

**Peec's Fact-checking traces a wrong claim to its source.** Peec splits each AI answer into single claims and marks each one Contradicted or Supported against your facts. Then it points to the page that carried the claim, on any site. We do not work on third-party pages.

**Peec turns findings into work for the whole team.** Actions rank technical, owned and earned work by impact. Peec Agent connects to tools such as Linear, Notion, Webflow and Lovable, and by default asks before it changes anything. Peec also prepares briefs for new pages, which we do not write.

**Peec can edit pages outside a code repository.** Content optimization suggests edits to an existing page that you accept or reject. Peec's MCP docs also describe publishing to a connected CMS such as WordPress, as an early-access feature. If your site runs on WordPress without a repository, Peec does more for that page than we do today.

## What we do that Peec AI does not

**Autopilot makes the technical fix in your site's code.** Peec finds issues such as a blocked bot or broken schema, and Peec Agent can hand them to engineers as a Linear ticket. Autopilot reads your code and writes a plan in plain words. After you approve it, the change arrives as a pull request on GitHub or a change in Lovable. It covers schema, meta tags, robots, sitemap, llms.txt and pages that only render with JavaScript.

**Autopilot writes the facts you confirmed into the page.** Peec's Fact-checking and our AI test both compare AI's answers with your facts. Our AI test asks GPT and Claude your buyers' questions three times each, with web search on, in your market's language. Autopilot then writes the missing facts into the page in its own language, and invents nothing.

**You start with one URL and no signup. After a fix, we check every week.** The free check reads nine areas of one public page in about 60 seconds. Peec starts with a project and prompts on a free trial. We test each fix on your live page, then ask AI the same question every week, with answers before and after. Peec also shows Visibility lift for completed actions, so measuring again is not unique to us.

## Using both

For a small marketing team with site code on GitHub, both make sense. Peec shows where your brand stands and which claims are wrong. Autopilot fixes the code and facts on your page.
